This setting is wonderful. I love the door and the Christmas wreath. I don't understand the little garage for boots though. If you took them off before entering the house, what would you have on your feet? There is still a lot of snow before reaching the front door. via

I am always seeing photos that you just know were set up by a magazine's stylist. Just something they thought of to add interest or balance to a scene. There sure wouldn't be any practical reason to have your boots stored there! Just imagine how cold they would be putting them on in the winter. Brrrr ;-)
Looks good for photo purposes, but just doesn’t make sense. I see lots of pics in the “home” magazines that don’t make sense, for example very uncomfortable chairs in which to sit. Sometimes beauty and comfort just don’t mix.
